Quick Hair Question :)!?

I want to get a haircut soon. I have really straight, black hair. I am thinking of getting layers that start at my chin, getting my face framed and having the hair be about 1/2 inch past my clavicle. I have some pictures, and I want to know if these can be pieced together for a good haircut. I really like the bangs but I don't know if it would look to punk-ish, because I don't want that. Also, will the hair be easy to maintain?
