My hair is shoulder length and rather thick. Unfortunately, it doesn't like to do anything but lay flat and straight. Does anyone know of a punk haircut with side bangs (which I already have) that would keep some of my length but make my hair look wild even when being straight?

well u can like cut the top till ure ears then let the rest and tease the top of ure hair n make it puffy n let the rest straight its a classic emo/scene haircut go on www.photobucket.com and type scene hair n look for he one u want

Ask for it to be thinned and razor cut. That will make it edgier and make it more willing to spike or bed head.
