Success with punk style hair?

My son is going to a punk concert %26amp; wants me to do his hair to match the clothes he'll be wearing for the occasion.

I've done a really good punky hair style for him in the past but it never seems to be successful enough to stay stuck up for the whole evening. :-)

Where can I get some fudge or gel or whatever it is that's used to keep the hair standing straight up.....what's a really good product to go for?

His hair isn't that long now.....about 6" at the longest point.

use a redken gel or tresemme extra hold mousse. It worked for me, I'm sure it'll work for you.

I had a punk friend and every time that she would spike her hair she would put glue in it. Actual glue like Elmer's glue. She also put gel and hairspray.

She would do her hair the night before and sleep on a chair.

Her hair has awesome and stiff.

Try boots for fudge products they also have lots of different makes for you to do this hairstyle.

Glue! my friend always uses it and his hair is pretty stiff, but if your son has thick hair it will be harder
