Shaggy hair seems to be out these days, but a shorter cut could let you do fun stuff with styling. Bangs are also great because they're so easy to move and change to look.

I'd suggest going to a salon and looking over their magazines- they often have many, and ANYTHING can be rock if you play it right.

Personally, I think asymmetrical cuts are really great for this.

Whether it's a new-fashioned mullet (honestly!) or something out there like that kid on Project Runway, find something that suits your comfort level and wear it with style.

split your hair on one side(dunno how to explain it, its like one side has more hair while the other side of your head has less hair...) then tie it in a pony tail HIGH, take out some hair on each sides, not too less not too much. then just put on some hair accesories then maybe you can use a bit hair gels if its for one day

I totally ripped off Davey Havok's haircut, but it looked really awesome. It is an drastic asymmetrical cut, your stylist should know what that means. You might think I am crazy, but longer on one side and shorter on the other is really fun. I got so many comments on my hair, I only got it cut "normally" because it was time to grow up a little.

get half your head sort of buzz cut. leaving either the left or right side long. then from the back make it shorter so that it slopes down and the front is long. like davey havok (i'm not sure if he changed it). watch love like winter and you'll see what i mean.

get extreme side swept bangs and curl the rest. i think that's gorgeous! it just requires a lot of work and isn't really punk.
