Punk/Prep look?

Well I'm really into the "whole" prep look like straight long dark black hair, hollister, a%26amp;f clothes and I'm getting some what bored of the whole prep look I want to turn to the punk look and I'm not sure if I should get my hair cut like punkish', I'm more afraid of getting the hair cut then missing my old look! Which would you stick to. Because now the whole punk look is in now. I want my hair cut like this

yah im into exactly what you are.. but rencently ive started getting really bright jewllery and it has really changed my look. like i have this like NEON Lime green headband I LOVE閳?it! (seriously its really bright) and ive gotten those necklaces you can layer their plastic you can get em at claires there really CUTE.. thats more a punk look i dont really know the whole scene look but they dress real cute!

and I think that one site a girl suggested to you.. like to me that hairstyle looks like an updated version of a mullet..and anyways its a SCENE hairstyle not PUNK so i say NOT that hairstyle since your doing a drastic change but something like it.. =)

but we could have totally diffrent ways of thinking like maybe your older than me..

but you can still look PREPPY but also look PUNK at the same time.. like you can wear Hollister but like i said just wear punk jewlery%26lt;3

This is not meant to be insulting, but Punk is a subculture, not a fashion style. there's no way to "dress" punk if you're not one.

i would get it cut the way you want it. as long as you dont go all out with dying your hair you can always just stick it up in a cute pony tail or something and let it grow out. you can make a prep look from short hair too if you really decide you dont want to be punkish anymore.

I always so go for it. The feeling of never knowing is worse than the feeling of a haircut that you might miss. Just transition over slowly and don't try to be too hardcore. Ever think of doing the prep/punk look? It's in right now and I happen to love it.
